So with that drama and then travelling to Liverpool from Devon, combined with no data and no wifi I wasn't able to post. So here is my belated happy Easter post and what's in my childrens Easter baskets...
I didn't want to just give my children chocolate, as I knew other family members would be aswell so I decided to put in a couple of small presents and craft bits that would could do. They both got a chocolate egg each ( Elise chose them) and they both got a book. Elise got "the velveteen rabbit" and Charlie got "cute as a button" both these books were £1.50 I think it was from sainsburys and they are lovely stories.
Elise as she is a little older got a mixed bag of sweets which I made myself. I used a small cellophane bag and filled it with chocolate bunnies, mini eggs and marshmallows. All these sweets were from aldi. She also had some bunny ears and a "make your own bunny mask" kit. Both the ears and kit were from home bargains.
Charlie had a "toot toot car" as his favourite thing to do at the moment is playing with cars and he had a turtle bath toy that lights up.
The baskets I got from home bargains and were just £1.99, and these can be used again for another gift hamper. The yellow shredded paper was from card factory. They both seemed really please with what they got and have enjoyed their treats.
As we didn't arrive home till later on Easter Sunday my parent did an Easter hunt with them, which they loved! We then went out for a carvery which was the perfect way to end a busy weekend.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. Thank you for reading.
