Dettol baby blanket campaign

I have teamed up with Dettol and Spink health to promote the baby blanket campaign and to raise awareness for the importance of good hygiene to protect new-borns. The campaign is called "keep the memories not the bacteria"

Baby blankets even after being washed at a temperature of 40 in the washing machine, still holds a variety of bacteria that is harmful to babies. Dettol Antibacterial laundry cleanser kills 99.9% of bacteria even when washed at temperatures as low as 30 in the washing machine.

My son became very poorly at the age of just 5 weeks. What started off as just a minor cold turned into pumonia and required a 4 day stay in an intensive care unit. We often don't realise just how quickly germs can spread and one thing that is common with all babies are "baby blankets" so by reducing the bacteria we can reduce the amount of babies falling ill.  Nothing in this world is more precious than your children and ther health.

Dettol are working with Sparks childrens charity on this campiagn. Sparks are dedicated to helping diagnose and prevent conditions in pregnancy, infancy and early childhood. Please visit www.sparks.org.uk to find out more about the amazing work they do with families and children affected by serious illness and disabilities.

For every baby blanket received, £1 will go to the sparks charity to help fund research to help improve the health of children living on the uk.
