Charlie's 18 month update

The last time i updated you about Charlie he had just turned 1. He's now 18 months!!! (Sobs) it's going in a blink of an eye and he's now a hyper toddler getting in to anything and everything.

I love to watch him explore and how much he seems to learn from watching his big sister. Here are some of the things he enjoys and the milestones he is achieving...

Can say around 10 words.

Knows where body parts are such as head, toes, tummy, nose etc.

Can feed himself using a fork or a knife.

Can hold a pencil and we are nothing he is left handed.

Favourite thing to watch on TV is foreman same or Mr tumble. Much to my horror.

Favourite things to do are dancing, playing with shoes (yes I know that's odd) colouring, playing catch and hire, tea parties with Elise and cars.

He understands our daily routine and will go collect his shoes if I say we are going out or go to the bottom of the stoats if I say it's nap or bath time.

Communicates what he wants with either saying yeah or no and shaking or nodding his head.

I am sure there are more but these are the ones that stick out in my mind. He is a very happy and cheeky little boy and so affectionate. My favourite time of the day is first thing in the morning when I pick him out of his cot and bring him in to our room and we have a cuddle in bed. Best way to start the day.

I will do another update on his 2nd birthday (sobs) it will be here in no time.

If you have a little one around Charlie's age I would love to know what they enjoy getting up to. Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for reading.
