Must have products for mums on the run

I wrote this post last year and I still can't recommend these products enough. They are deffinantly my "go to" products. Have a read below....

As a busy mum of two, finding the time to pamper myself is not easy. Products that make getting ready a little less time consuming are a godsend. These are my current top picks that leave my skin, hair and nails feeling great.

BarryM Gelly nail polish

This nail polish is great. its easy to apply. One coat would do the job (in this particular colour) but I always prefer to do two coats. It lasted a few days without chipping and longer almost a week if I made sure I used gloves when washing up and cleaning. It dried within a couple of minutes which is ideal when you don't have time to sit around and wait for your nails to dry. This colour is cocoa and its a great warm winter colour. I love the BarryM gelly range and highly recommend them. I purchased this particular polish from Boots.

Garnier pure Active BB cream.

This is my favourite product. A tinted moisturiser that gives your skin an instant glow and surprisingly, great coverage of spots and blemishes. I find a little bit goes a long way and it gives your skin a nice glow, making you look fresh faced and awake, which after a number of sleepless nights, it is exactly what you need. It comes in light, medium or dark so you can match accordingly to your skin tone. It retails for around £6-£8 and can be purchased from most supermarkets, boots or Superdrug.

Batiste Dry shampoo

Every women (in my opinion) needs dry shampoo in there life!  Not only is it great to refresh your hair between washes, but also great for giving your hair a bit of volume at the roots, if its looking or feeling a bit flat and lifeless. It comes in a range of different scents and this particular one is called blush. I would be lost without this product. After a sleepless night and an early start, washing my long thick hair sometimes has to be the last thing on my list so this product is my saviour.

Vaseline Spray and Go

This is a recent purchase and I am extremely impressed. It really does what it says on the tin. It dry's almost instantly, leaving your skin feeling moisturised and hydrated. I like that it soaks up straight away and doesn't leave a residue so you can get dressed straight away. I love using body butters but I prefer to use them in the evening. Personally I find using a thick body butter in the morning can make my skin feel very oily and leave a residue, which makes me feel uncomfortable throughout the day. This product doesn't do that and I can not recommend it enough. Again like the other products this can be purchased in most supermarkets or places like boots, Superdrug, pharmacy's and boots.

I hope this post has been helpful. Let me know your thoughts and opinions on these products!

As always thank you for reading
